TASTE & TEXTURE
Pikeperch (Zander) is very mild tasting, and has lean, firm meat that is extremely similar to Walleye. It is caught in remote lakes and streams throughout Europe.
INTERESTING FACT:
In 2004, the FDA investigated restaurants in Minnesota who were serving Pikeperch/Zander and calling it Walleye. The taste and fillet appearance was so similar, it took DNA testing to be able to differentiate between the two!

Yellow perch has moist, translucent, pink flesh with no fishy odor. Cooked, the lean meat is white, with a mild, sweet flavor and firm but flaky texture.

TASTE AND TEXTURE
European perch is essentially the same fish as a North American perch, that is caught in freshwater lakes and streams throughout Europe. It is know to be very extremely similar in taste, at a more economical price.
